Michael G. Gartland is a graduate of Fairfield University and Albany Law School. He joined the firm in 1974.

Mr. Gartland specializes in mortgage banking, asset-based lending, residential and commercial loans, creditors' rights and commercial law.

Mr. Gartland is past Chairman of the Board and current trustee of Saint Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, New York.  He is also a former member and Chairman of the Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency, a former member and Vice Chairman of the City of Poughkeepsie Planning Board, counsel to United Way of Dutchess County, a co-trustee of The McCann Foundation and a member of the Board of Trustees of Marist College.
