Richard V. Corbally

A partner at Corbally, Gartland and Rappleyea, LLP from 1958 to 1980, Mr. Corbally re-associated with the firm in October 2000 as "of Counsel". He has engaged in the general practice of law for more than 50 years, and is a graduate of Georgetown University and Albany Law School. His practices areas include real estate, probate and estate administration.
He was a ten-year member of the board of trustees of Dutchess Community College and served as chairperson of that board for three years. Subsequently, he served as general counsel for Dutchess Community College for eight years.
Mr. Corbally is president of the McCann Foundation, Inc., and trustee of the James J. McCann Charitable Trust and has been active in fundraising campaigns for various local charities. He is a former trustee of Adriance Memorial Library and the Poughkeepsie Area Fund; former member and chairman of the Planning Board of the Town of Stanford, New York; and former treasurer of the Dutchess County Bar Association.
