Vincent L. DeBiase

Vincent L. DeBiase joined our firm in 1976. Mr. DeBiase practices in the areas of business law and litigation. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to the business and law of licensing and franchising. He is a nationally recognized author on the law of franchising and regularly represents franchisors, franchisees and distributorships. His franchising-related clients have included Subway, Blimpie, Cold Stone Creamery, StreetCorner and Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery and Grill.
Mr. DeBiase's business law experience also includes technology and other licensing, e-commerce and intellectual property. He also practices in the areas of construction law and litigation. Mr. DeBiase is a trained mediator and arbitrator and is a member of CPR's Distinguished Panel of Neutrals and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr. DeBiase is the past president of the boards of the Poughkeepsie Day School and the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum Committee on Franchising and Construction Law, as well as the New York Bar Association's Business Law Section.
Mr. DeBiase and his wife, Sheila, live in Rhinebeck, New York.
